Maison Aligre — a perfume house, re-imagined.
Complete brand system for a Grasse perfumery: wordmark, packaging, retail.
I'm Adrien Marchand — a multidisciplinary director working at the intersection of strategy, identity and spatial design for houses that take their craft seriously.
A small selection. The full archive — over 60 projects — is available on request.

Atelier Marchand is a one-room studio in the Marais, founded in 2007 after a decade at Studio Dumbar and a stint at Pentagram London. We accept four to six engagements a year.
Our practice moves between brand strategy, identity, art direction and spatial design. We work slowly, in person, and we write our own copy. We do not pitch.
Clients have included houses of fashion and fragrance, cultural institutions, family-run hotels and one or two private collectors. The work is archived in annual printed monographs — the eleventh is at press.
Long-form research, stakeholder interviews, narrative architecture and competitive audits — the thinking before the making.
Wordmarks, typography, colour, motion and the printed artefacts that carry a house's voice into the world.
Boutiques, restaurants, hotels and exhibitions — designed in dialogue with architects and craftspeople.
Copywriting, books, monographs, catalogues and the long, slow rituals of ink on paper.
"Adrien rebuilt our identity from a single conversation. Six years on, we have never looked elsewhere."
"A rare kind of patience. The work is uncompromising and yet, somehow, very kind."
"He listens more than he speaks — and somehow the rooms he makes already feel inhabited."
New projects are considered quarterly. Please share a brief — even a sentence. I read every one personally and reply within a week.
